Craig M. Heim, 45, of Ireland, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at home.

Craig was born in Jasper on November 28, 1974, to Arnie H. and Cyrilla M. (Hartz) Heim. He married Amy B. Schneider on February 26, 2000, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

He was a 1993 graduate of Jasper High School and a 1998 graduate of Vincennes University.

He was a skilled maintenance technician who worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, the Ireland Knights of Columbus Council #5581 and the Jasper Moose Lodge #1175.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ATV riding, being outdoors and spending time with his girls.

Surviving are his wife, Amy Heim; two daughters, Emily Heim and Madison Heim, both at home; one sister, Arlene Erny (Joe), Jasper; two brothers, Chris Heim (Bernita), Jasper, and Kent Heim (Tina), Jasper; nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Loretta St. John.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Craig M. Heim will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The Ireland Knights of Columbus will conduct a memorial service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery Fund, the Dubois County Community Foundation - Jasper Lady Wildcats Softball Endowment, or to a favorite charity.
